Wild & Wise Homeschool Drop off Program

Wild & Wise is a one-of-a-kind homeschool drop-off program that brings environmental science to life through hands-on exploration, outdoor adventure, and meaningful real-world experiences. Designed for curious learners ages 10–15, this 13-week program goes far beyond textbooks, allowing students to investigate, build, experiment, and discover while immersed in nature.

Ages 10-15 | Wednesdays, 9AM-3PM | September 9 - December 13 | $975 for Fall Session

Each week, students will explore a different area of environmental science while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and outdoor skills.

Whether they're testing water quality in a pond, identifying edible plants along the trails, constructing wildlife habitats, or learning how ecosystems work together, every lesson encourages students to ask questions, make observations, and become active stewards of the natural world.

What We'll Explore

Throughout the session, students may participate in activities such as:

  • Pond ecology and aquatic life investigations

  • Forest ecology and habitat studies

  • Wilderness survival and outdoor skills

  • Navigation using maps and compasses

  • Wildlife tracking and identification

  • Tree, plant, and mushroom identification

  • Responsible foraging and native plant studies

  • Soil science and composting

  • Water conservation and watershed exploration

  • Pollinators and insect ecology

  • Bird studies and the construction of birdhouses and bat houses

  • Building sensory trails and nature-based engineering projects

  • Environmental conservation and stewardship

  • Nature journaling, data collection, and citizen science

  • Seasonal changes and climate observations

Because we use the farm, forests, fields, ponds, and trails as our classroom, every session is shaped by the seasons, weather, and the natural discoveries happening around us. No two classes are exactly alike.

Learn by Doing

Students won't spend the day sitting at desks. They'll be collecting samples, designing projects, conducting experiments, building structures, solving real environmental challenges, and working collaboratively outdoors.

Our goal is to help students understand not only how the natural world works, but also why it matters—and how they can play a role in protecting it.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a wildlife biologist, loves exploring the woods, enjoys building and creating, or simply feels most at home outdoors, Wild & Wise offers an engaging, unforgettable learning experience that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
